Guelaguetza: A Celebration of Culture and Tradition

The Guelaguetza Festival, held annually in July, is one of the most significant and vibrant cultural events in Oaxaca. The term "Guelaguetza" means offering or mutual aid in Zapotec, reflecting the spirit of community and reciprocity of the festival.
